SSCI 3039U – Children, Psychology and the Law Through an examination of relevant criminological, psychological, and legal literature, this course will explore the manner in which children come in contact with the law. It will examine children’s diverse roles in the courts in the context of domestic and international law. It will highlight the contradictory ways in which children are defined, protected and prosecuted by the law by examining important case law and relevant legal precedent.
