SSCI 3027U – Youth Crime This course attempts to place the study of youthful offending within a broad context. Youth violence will be examined as both a social phenomenon and a policy problem. This will include a discussion of issues such as adolescent firearm possession and use, standards for sentencing youth as adults and legal sanctions for adolescents who kill.
