HLSC 4471U – Kinesiology II: Musculoskeletal Biomechanics This course aims to develop practical knowledge of the biomechanical principles needed to evaluate and understand musculoskeletal function and dysfunction. The course covers the biomechanics of musculoskeletal tissues and structures, the biomechanics of joints, and the application of biomechanics to assessment of posture, gait, balance and movement. The principles are applicable in rehabilitation and prevention of neuromusculoskeletal injury.
