CSCI 2160U – Digital Media This course is an introduction to the representation and processing of media in a digital form. The media covered includes sound, image, video, text, and graphics. Topics covered in this course include sampling, storage and file structures, reproduction, and the processing of different forms of media. Standard software packages for the handling of digital media are also covered. Credit hours: 3 Lecture hours: 3 Laboratory hours: 1.5 Prerequisite(s): CSCI 1030U or CSCI 1040U
