COMM 1610U – Interpersonal Communication This course considers the nature and function of interpersonal and small group communication. It is designed to foster an understanding of language, culture, and human behaviour that will contribute to improved communication skills in the students’ personal and professional lives. Workshop exercises are designed to improve the interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication, management, listening, conflict resolution, negotiation, selling, and persuading.
