TESL 1200U – Teaching Components 1

This course presents instructional strategies related to the four skill areas (reading, writing, speaking, listening) with a focus on receptive language (12 hours). Course content also includes a 12 hour focus on developing grammatical, vocabulary and textual competencies; as well as 12 hours dedicated to designing language learning assessments (journals, portfolios, presentations, feedback and error correction).
