POSC 3000U – Policy, Democracy and Governance This course explores the theory and practice of democratic administration in Canada, with emphasis on the principles, institutions and procedures influencing and structuring government decision-making. It looks, in particular, at the nature of citizen participation in the policy process and the tension between new public sector management and enhanced democratic engagement.
