BUSI 3820U – International Human Resource Management The focus of this course is on the strategies involved in managing the human resource needs of an international organization. Students will examine issues such as the effect of cultural differences, the strategic use of technology, managing personnel transitions, and organizational design for global competition. Emphasis will be placed on international human resource strategies and how they can be used as a competitive advantage for the organization. The use of discussion and case analysis will allow students to apply theories from the course. Credit hours: 3 Lecture hours: 3 Prerequisite(s): BUSI 2312U and BUSI 3800U
