BUSI 3380U – Compensation and Benefits The focus of this course is on the strategies involved in planning for the compensation and benefits needs of employees. Students will examine issues such as key legislation, the fit between compensation and organizational strategies, and how to assess benefit needs of an organization. Emphasis will be placed on creating a total compensation and benefit package that can be used as a competitive advantage for the organization. The use of case analysis will allow students to apply theories from the course and demonstrate comprehensive compensation and benefits knowledge and administration practices.
