SSCI 5080G - Crime and Inequality This course is a seminar on the structured inequality or unequal distribution of prestige, power and wealth, and of the ideologies as they intersect with the criminal justice system in Canada. This course critically challenges the notion of an objective, value-neutral criminal justice system and will consider the impact of operational and policy decisions on race, class, gender and other topics related to crime and inequality including discrimination poverty, homelessness, mental illness and ageism. This course is a seminar. Credit hours: 3
