PSYC 5560G - Psychology and the Courtroom The content of this course focuses on psychological issues associated with criminal and civil courtroom litigation. Potential reading and discussion topics include judge and jury decision making, jury selection, jury deliberation, effects of pre-trial publicity and other forms of extra-legal evidence on case outcomes, expert witnesses and the plea-bargaining process.
