ENGR 2100U – Computational Engineering Applications Introduction to MATLAB, the engineering applications of MATLAB to the following areas: solving systems of linear algebraic equations, interpolation and curve fitting, finding the roots of equations, numerical differentiation and numerical integration using MATLAB, solving initial value problems, solving two-point boundary value problems, solving symmetric matrix eigenvalue problems, introduction to engineering design optimization using MATLAB.
