POSC 3602U – Labour in the Global Economy This course examines the nature and evolution of work from the 1700’s, with emphasis on the interaction between labour, business and the state. Students will explore, both theoretically and historically, the dramatic changes in employment practice that have occurred alongside the gradual development of the global economy and the way that government policies have accommodated and influenced these important shifts.
