POSC 3600U – Politics of Education in Canada This course is an introduction to educational policies in Canada. Formal education is one of the most expensive and contentious areas of social policy. Some of the areas that may be covered include: the development of public education, post-secondary education, educational accessibility, education and social mobility, education and the workforce, lifelong learning, private education and training, public understanding of education issues, and public support for educational policies.
