POSC 3301U – Eco-Justice Students taking this course will learn about the history and progression of the environmental justice movement. The course content will challenge students to critically analyze the (dis)placement of marginalized communities in toxic and uninhabitable areas, as well as community resistance to environmental degradation. Emphasis will be placed on identifying the best practices and policies necessary for resolving environmental injustices.
