MATH 1015U – Mathematics for Bioscience Mathematics is a key tool for the biological sciences. This course emphasizes the mathematical applications that are used in the biological sciences rather than theory. Students begin with a review of pre-calculus topics, to ensure the necessary mathematical skills to succeed in the course, and before they are introduced to limits and continuity. Topics will include quantities and units; tables, graphs and functions; waves and trigonometry; differentiation and integration.
