CRMN 4022U – Hate Crime As message crimes, hate crimes have dramatic impacts not just on individual victims but on broader communities and inter-cultural relationships. They also challenge core values of inclusion and equity. This course will assess the contexts and consequences of hate crime, focusing attention on the ways in which individual and social dynamics shape hate crime. Students will also engage in a critical assessment of the strategies intended to counter hate.
