FSCI 4050U – Law for Forensic Scientists This course explores aspects of criminal law, with the goal of understanding forensic science within a legal context. Topics include: structure of the courts system and the criminal procedures used in it, roles of the forensic scientist in criminal procedures, rules of evidence, role of expert witness. Credit hours: 3 Lecture hours: 3 Prerequisite(s): FSCI 2010U or FSCI 2020U Note(s): This course may be offered in a hybrid format with 1.5 hours of lectures and 1.5 hours of online lectures and self-learning material.
