BIOL 4080U – Bioethics Introduction to bioethical methods and theory to guide discussion of bioethical issues related to the various disciplines in biology including the environment and moral relationships between humans and the rest of the world. Students will discuss bioethical issues from a historical, sociological, and philosophical perspective, with a consideration of how religious beliefs, political ideology and the law influence positions. Credit hours: 3 Lecture hours: 3 Prerequisite(s): Registration in fourth year of a Biological Science program. Experiential learning: Yes
