PHY 3030U – Electronics This course provides students with a strong understanding of electronic applications, starting with analysis of DC, AC and transient electric circuits; operational amplifiers, feedback and op-amp circuits; digital electronics, logic circuits, Boolean Algebra, memories and counters. Semiconductor physics will be introduced, with applications to diodes, junction and field effect transistors, and FET and MOSFET amplifiers.
